Mayor Nutter to Address the Business Community
Join the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce for the Annual Mayoral Luncheon on Tuesday, February 10 at 11:00 a.m. at the Marriott Philadelphia Downtown, located in Center City.
During this informative luncheon, Mayor Michael Nutter will formally address the business community, discussing his plans to tackle the city’s economic challenges and capitalize on its strengths in the coming year and beyond.
In addition to the Mayor’s address, two Philadelphia high school students will be honored for their outstanding community service when they receive the Gus Amsterdam Leadership Award, which includes a $5,000 scholarship towards higher education.
We also invite you to share Mayor Nutter's passion for education by bringing a new or well-conditioned book to the luncheon to give a young person a fundamental tool for success. Donated books will benefit Philadelphia Reads, an initiative of the Office of the Mayor that helps strengthen the literacy skills of Philadelphia's most needy school children.
The 26th Annual Mayoral Luncheon is presented in partnership with Comcast Corporation and premium-sponsored by the Philadelphia Inquirer, The Daily News and philly.com. It is co-sponsored by Capital Management Enterprises, Deloitte, Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation, Hahnemann University Hospital, Independence Blue Cross, Northwestern Human Services, Philadelphia Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, PECO, Shire Pharmaceuticals, Stradley Ronon, TD Bank, University of Pennsylvania, University of Pennsylvania Health System, UPS, Wellness Coaches USA, and WolfBlock.
